Anyone who has Personal information that needs to be locked away safely.

• But I use XP or Windows 2000 and it encrypts my files for me.

Yes XP has a PGP Pretty Good Privacy, if you have information that you don't want your granny to look at then fine XP PGP is for you, but if you have accounts customer list or master scripts you don't want your compactors to look at then PGP is no good, if someone is going to nick your files then they will also now how to open them PGP or not, like Microsoft they don't use PGP to encrypt their master scripts they use a third party like myself.

• What make Foelock Safe so Safe.

Foelock Safe has never been hacked to-date, we made an offer to all hackers in the year 2000 to try and hack our encryption and no one has been able to so far, the offer is still open. Hack this if you can, we are offering US $250 to the first person who can hack our file.

It has no fixed length, and ever time you encode a file it changes the encryption pattern, it mutates making very hard for any one to workout what's going on, unlike PGP witch is constant.

It is easy to use and can lock or unlock multiple files or folders.

You can set it up into projects so you can lock and unlock a project one at a time.

• Foelock Safe will not move or delete any files only lock and unlock them.
  
  

• The Open button, is use to open a project that has been saved it is a list of files you have added to that project, the files are not moved but just add to the list any of the files can be selected just by clicking on them and the file will become highlighted as above only the highlighted files are worked on when you press the Remove / unlock / lock buttons.
  
  The Save and Save as buttons are used to save a project, so if you have an accounts software package folder you may want to save this project on it's own, all you do is drop the folder of your accounts package on the project front 'the write area above' and all the files will be listed, then you can select files to be lock / unlock or save the project. The project is save as an .usl you can open this using the open button or drop it on the Foelock Safe Icon.
  
  The Add button is use to add a single file to the project list, just locate the file to add using the file dialogue form to add many files just drag and drop the files on to the project front the write area. You can also drag and drop files on the Foelock Safe Icon 
  
  The Remove button select files to be removed from the project by clicking on them then press remove button this doesn't delete any files.
  
  The Select All button this will select all the files in the project ready to be locked or unlocked.
  
  The Unselect All button this will unselect all files in the project.
  
  The Unlock button will unlock all files that are selected you can unlock a file by selecting it in the project list then pressing the unlock button you will need to enter a password.
  
  The Lock button will lock all files that are selected the files will be encode and the name change with an added suffix like .ABCDEF.usf you can unlock this file by selecting it in the project list then pressing the unlock button, or you can drop it on to the Foelock Safe Icon. You will need to enter your password, when locking a project you can enter a password or use the master password this means that any one can lock a file using the master password but only the person who knows the password can unlock the files.
  
  The Cancel button is to stop the locking or unlocking of files.
  
  The Setting button is to change the master password and the file suffix filter you will need to enter the master password. The first time you enter a password you can select if you want to use the password as your master password this will save you time typing it in all the time. You must type in your password to unlock files.

• Quick Start:

Put a copy of any document on your desktop, open Foelock Safe from the program menu then drag and drop the document on to the project list, click the file in the project list to highlight it then press lock button you will see the password form.

• Enter your password in both boxes press set as master password. remember your password or you will not be able to unlock files or change your master password.

You will now see that the document on your desktop has change to a usf file.

Now press the Save button and type test. then press save.

Now press the remove button. this will clear the project list.

Now press the open button, click on the test.usl file and press open. 

This will reopen the project as it was saved.

• Now press the unlock button and you will see the unlock password form.

• Enter your password and click OK. and the document on your desktop will be put back to how it was. you do not need to move the documents to your desktop this was just to show you how it works you can copy and past from any folder.
